About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Indigo Finance team working out of the Group Head Office in Magor. 

We are seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to provide analytical, data driven insight to analyse, strategize and enhance business performance.

The role will use in-depth knowledge of data modelling techniques to analyse financial performance, recommend potential solutions to optimize efficiency, working collaboratively to implement those solutions and monitor the outcomes.

This is a high-profile role which will support both internal and external stakeholders (including Sales, Operations and Group Finance) in providing quality and consistency of information and recommendations to support decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding the needs and goals of the business
  • Working closely and in collaboration with business leaders and key stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement in business operations and processes
  • Collecting, interpreting and analysing data to uncover trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Using statistical analysis, simulations, predictive modelling or other methods to analyse information and develop practical solutions
  • Support in the design and implementation of effective business strategies and plans
  • Effectively communicating key insights and findings to business leaders and key stakeholders
  • Assisting in the design or modification of business systems (Vena and Access Dimensions)
  • Developing reports, dashboards with key metrics to monitor business performance
  • Support the annual strategic plan process by conducting market, competitor or internal analysis
  • Produce the monthly finance Board pack with clear, concise and impactful analysis
  • Production of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Identify and implement Vena and Access Dimensions system improvements to maximise efficiency of processes and reporting.
  • Activities to assist the Group Finance function with year-end audit, statutory report and other ad hoc requirements

About You


  • Qualified or part qualified with several years’ experience working in FP&A
  • A passion for identifying solutions that meet business needs and a commitment to driving innovation in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • In-depth knowledge of data modelling techniques using relevant business management principles
  • Strong proficiency with FP&A systems platform (preferably Vena) and other data tools.
  • Excellent research, analytic and conceptual thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to summarise complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work across functions with the ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders with professionalism and discretion to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced, senior stakeholder environment
