We help customers design, deploy, support and scale the infrastructure their businesses rely on, giving them greater control, consistency and confidence. Our teams work across subsea, terrestrial, wireless, data centre and NOC environments, bringing specialist expertise, 24/7 support, field services and managed services together under one accountable model.

Being part of Indigo means working in a business where operational excellence, customer trust and doing things properly matter. We support customers in complex, performance-critical environments, helping them reduce risk, protect performance and deliver with confidence. Our people are central to that mission, bringing the skill, responsiveness and accountability needed to support the next generation of digital infrastructure. As an Investors in People Gold accredited employer, we're committed to investing in the growth and development of our people.

About The Role

As Talent Acquisition Lead, you'll lead recruitment across Indigo's global markets, with a primary focus on the UK and US, alongside Europe and APAC. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you'll combine hands-on recruitment delivery with leadership of a small team, partnering closely with hiring managers to attract and secure the right talent. You'll take a proactive, commercially minded approach to sourcing, champion direct recruitment and build strong stakeholder relationships to deliver an effective, cost-conscious talent acquisition service that supports Indigo's continued growth. You can shape Indigo's talent acquisition approach, bringing new ideas, best practice and innovative sourcing strategies to support our global growth ambitions.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end global recruitment across Indigo, including roles within subsea, terrestrial, wireless, data centre, NOC, field services, managed services, PMO and back-office functions.
  • Uphold a robust, consistent end-to-end hiring process, ensuring quality and rigour at every stage, from role briefing and candidate assessment through to offer management and onboarding.
  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders, aligning recruitment priorities with business needs and maintaining clear communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Drive proactive sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter and other channels, including direct search and headhunting, to attract high-quality candidates for specialist and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Maximise direct hiring while managing agency relationships effectively, ensuring external support is used strategically and delivers value within agreed budgets.
  • Lead and support a small Talent Acquisition team, providing direction, managing priorities and driving continuous improvement across the recruitment function.
  • Maintain efficient recruitment processes and a positive candidate experience, ensuring accurate records and effective administration throughout the hiring lifecycle.
  • Support the implementation of a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS), identifying opportunities to improve recruitment efficiency, candidate engagement and sourcing through technology and automation.
  • Partner with Marketing and key stakeholders to strengthen Indigo's employer brand and support diversity and inclusion objectives across recruitment activity.
  • Monitor recruitment performance, produce meaningful reports and evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of recruitment tools and channels to inform future decisions.

About You

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with a track record of delivering end-to-end recruitment across a range of roles and functions, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience in a hands-on recruitment leadership role, balancing personal recruitment delivery with team oversight while adapting to changing business priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to build trusted relationships and influence hiring managers at all levels.
  • Essential experience using LinkedIn Recruiter for proactive sourcing, alongside strong direct search and headhunting skills to identify and engage candidates for specialist or hard-to-fill roles.
  • Experience managing recruitment agency relationships, including assessing supplier performance and ensuring external recruitment delivers value for money.
  • A commercially minded approach, with the ability to evaluate the ROI of recruitment tools and channels, build business cases for investment and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology, automation and innovation.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with experience using ATS platforms and recruitment reporting tools. Previous involvement in an ATS implementation or migration would be advantageous.
  • Experience recruiting for technical or operational roles would be beneficial, particularly within telecommunications, digital infrastructure, technology or engineering, although sector experience is not essential.

At Indigo, we believe our greatest strength is our people. We're committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued, respected and able to do their best work. We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds and make employment decisions based on skills, experience and potential. If you need any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, we're here to support you.
