About The Role

This role is ideal for someone enthusiastic about starting or developing a career in IT. You don’t need years of experience, what matters most is your willingness to learn, your positive attitude, and your interest in technology. We’ll provide full training, support, and opportunities to grow your skills across a broad range of systems and platforms.

As part of the IT team, you’ll help provide technical support across the organisation, resolve support tickets, assist users with queries, and get involved in delivering IT projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with hybrid infrastructure, including Windows and macOS devices, SaaS platforms, and networking technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Prioritise and resolve support tickets, escalating issues where appropriate.
Provide friendly and helpful end user support across hardware, software, and operating systems.
Follow change control procedures and contribute to the creation of change requests.
Assist with IT projects and attend internal IT review meetings.
Provide administrative and technical support to the IT Manager.
Monitor quality of work and report findings as required.
Identify where users may need additional training and communicate this appropriately.
Ensure compliance with company standards, processes, and policies.

The role requires strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, follow change control procedures, and collaborate with internal teams.


About You

We’re looking for someone who is keen, motivated, and excited about starting or progressing a career in IT. You’ll be supported to develop your technical skills, gain experience across a wide range of systems, and build confidence in a professional IT environment.

Essential Skills & Qualities
A genuine interest in IT and a desire to learn and grow.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS environments (personal or professional use).
An organised approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
A calm and helpful manner when supporting end users.

Desirable (Training Provided)
Basic understanding of networking (routing, switching, firewalls).
Awareness of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or endpoint management tools.
Experience with Azure services or hybrid cloud environments.
Knowledge of Fortinet, HP, or Meraki networking equipment.
Understanding of backup and disaster recovery principles.
Software installation and configuration.
A valid driving licence (advantageous but not essential).
