About The Role

The Indigo Development Operations Team delivers services that support, maintain, and enhance internal system tools used across the business. In addition, the team offers customer-facing 'add-on' services, such as customer portals, system integrations, and custom development, to clients who engage with our core offerings, including NOC, FLM, and Project delivery services.

The Business Analyst is responsible for leading business analysis activities across development projects, ensuring thorough investigation, comprehensive documentation, and effective stakeholder engagement to support successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business users, customers, and the systems team to ensure alignment on project goals, requirements, and outcomes.
  • Engage proactively with stakeholders to communicate progress, manage expectations, and resolve issues.
  • Understand and articulate business and customer needs, ensuring they are clearly translated into actionable requirements for delivery teams.
  • Conduct thorough business situation analyses using methods such as interviews, shadowing, and workshops to gather qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Define problems, analyse root causes, and support the development of effective solution options.
  • Produce feasibility assessments, including cost–benefit evaluations, impact analysis, and risk considerations.
  • Manage the full requirements lifecycle, eliciting, documenting, analysing, and organising requirements to support accurate scoping and planning.
  • Plan, design, and execute acceptance testing, including the creation of test cases, scenarios, and reporting of test outcomes.
  • Document, analyse, and redesign business processes to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis practices and systems team processes.

    About You

  • Proven experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including business users, customers, and technical teams.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and address concerns effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct business analysis activities that support accurate project scoping and successful delivery.
  • Experience using a range of investigative techniques (e.g., interviews, workshops, shadowing) to gather business insights.
  • Ability to define problems, perform root‑cause analysis, and evaluate solution options.
  • Experience producing feasibility assessments, including cost/benefit, impact, and risk analysis.
  • Hands‑on experience managing the requirements lifecycle end‑to‑end.
  • Knowledge and experience in designing, planning, and executing acceptance testing.
  • Familiarity with documenting, analysing, and improving business processes.
  • Experience identifying, managing, and improving stakeholder relationships, including delivery of engagement and communication plans.
  • A track record of contributing to continuous improvement within business analysis or systems development environments.

    • Requirements accuracy rate
      Percentage of requirements delivered without rework due to unclear, incomplete, or incorrect documentation.
    • Stakeholder satisfaction score
      Feedback from business users, customers, and project teams on clarity, communication, and engagement.
    • Business analysis deliverables quality score
      Internal QA or peer‑review scoring of requirement documents, process maps, test cases, etc.
    • Acceptance test coverage
      Percentage of business requirements covered by test cases.
    • Process improvement contributions
      Number of new ideas or improvements implemented within the systems team’s workflows or BA practices.
