About The Role

Working with network, security and operational teams, you'll help ensure the availability, performance and security of critical infrastructure while contributing to network automation, monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a hybrid role, requiring three days per week in the office, and participation in an on-call rota to support business and customer requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Deploy, configure and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls and associated services.

  • Support and troubleshoot routing, switching and network security technologies across on-premise and cloud environments.

  • Implement and maintain Fortinet-based security solutions, VPNs and firewall policies.

  • Monitor network performance, availability and capacity, identifying and resolving issues proactively.

  • Develop and maintain automation and remediation scripts to improve operational efficiency.

  • Support network upgrades, patching and infrastructure improvement projects.

  • Assist with data centre activities, including rack installation, cabling and asset management.

  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, network diagrams and operational procedures.

  • Follow ITIL-aligned change, incident and problem management processes.

  • Provide Level 2 support and technical guidance to NOC and Security teams.

  • Participate in an on-call rota and support occasional out-of-hours activities.
